“Although it is positive that we have avoided a ‘no deal’ Brexit on Friday, the Government must now use this extension to agree on a deal which protects the interests of the automotive retail sector, one of the strongest contributors to the economy of the UK.

“With more than half a million people employed in automotive retail, the stability of our industry cannot continue to be undermined by the political uncertainty that has been affecting businesses and consumers for more than two years”.
