The National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) will be attending the British Motor Show, set to take place 17-20 August 2023 at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre Show Centre.

Sue Robinson, Chief Executive of the NFDA, said:

"We are pleased to once again be a part of the British Motor Show, as this event provides a unique platform to showcase the vibrancy of the automotive industry and the exciting career opportunities it presents. Through our employment initiative Drive My Career, we are determined to help young talents discover their potential and connect with the diverse opportunities available in automotive retailing."

Throughout the event, NFDA will also be an integral part of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Tech Hub, where Drive My Career's team will be available every day from 10:50-11:20 to provide young minds with valuable insights into pursuing a career within the automotive industry, answering questions and offering guidance on various pathways.

“In addition to our commitment to career development, NFDA is proud to champion the electrification movement within the automotive industry. Our team will be available to answer consumer questions about all aspects of the EV journey, particularly with regards to charging, available models and suitability and will remind to seek out their local EVA Accredited dealership when considering an EV purchase.”

One of the highlights of NFDA's presence at the British Motor Show is the "Future of Automotive Retailing" session, scheduled for Thursday, 17 August from 10.30-12.00. Speakers include Sue Robinson, NFDA Chief Executive, Nick King, Auto Trader Market Research and Insights Director, Steve Young, ICDP Managing Director, and Alastair Cassels, MHA Partner.

We encourage to secure your spot for the 'Future of Automotive Retailing' session, as only a limited number of spots remain available. This session promises an engaging exploration of crucial industry trends such as consumer buying preferences, online and omni-channel retailing, the electric vehicle market, and manufacturer relationships.”

Sue Robinson concluded, "We are thrilled to be back at the British Motor Show, an event that has become a cherished tradition for NFDA. Our participation highlights our commitment to promoting career opportunities, driving innovation, and advancing the electrification revolution. We look forward to sparking interest in the minds of the youth and their families while paving the way for a more sustainable automotive future.”
