At the Automotive Management (AM) Awards Dinner in Birmingham on 17th February 2010, the RMI’s Sue Robinson won the "Personality of the Year" award.
This award is presented to the person who has had the biggest impact on the motor industry during the previous 12 months. Their contribution will have made a significant positive impact to the way companies do business, or to the way the industry is portrayed to the public. Sue received the award particularly because of her continued work with the scrappage scheme. This year the award was shared with the SMMT’s Paul Everitt.
Sue was unable to attend the dinner and in her absence Louise Wallis accepted the award on her behalf.
