Sue Robinson, Director of National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) which represents franchised car and commercial vehicle retailers across the UK, has been named number 41 in the second annual ‘Motor Trader Top 50 Movers and Shakers’.

The list identifies key individuals who have influenced the motor retail sector over the past year and are set to make their presence felt over the course of 2014.

Robinson comments, “It’s a great personal achievement to be named in this year’s ‘Movers and Shakers’ list among many well known and influential members of the automotive industry.

“2013 was a busy year for the NFDA. Our recent Dealer Attitude survey showed that franchised dealers believe there has been an overall improvement in the day to day relationship with their manufacturer.

“We attended many interesting meetings in 2013, including one with Maria Rehbinder, Head of Internal Markets at the European Commission, to explore suitable options following the publication of the responses received to the Commission’s consultation on ‘Unfair Trading Practices’. We also attended meetings with consumer bodies to look at standards across the franchised sector.

“As a leading voice for the franchise and commercial vehicle sectors, we hope to continue to grow from strength to strength in 2014”.
