Dear Colleague,

The Coronavirus is presenting a number of challenges for the UK. NFDA is working hard to support our franchised dealer members and provide you with regular updates and guidance. We are in constant communication with dealers of all sizes and the Government to ensure that we can continue to address the most pressing issues facing businesses during these difficult times.

We are sending a daily bulletin to our members with the list of documents currently available. If you are an NFDA member and not currently receiving our daily update, please contact nfda@rmif.co.uk.

On our website, in the ‘industry issues’ section, you will find guidance documents prepared by our legal team that cover employment and HR issues, clarifications on workshops opening, a summary of the Government’s financial support measures including the Job Retention Scheme, as well as template letters aimed at facilitating your communications with customers and employees. Please find more information below and on our website.

Please note, due to the Coronavirus, we have had to postpone the NFDA Spring Ball which was due on 25 April 2020 and will now likely take place in Spring 2021. We have already contacted sponsors and guests individually, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

NFDA is your trade association and the voice of automotive retailers: if you require any assistance or would like to receive any of our Coronavirus guidance documents, please contact our member helpline on 01788 538303 or email nfda@rmif.co.uk.

Sue Robinson, NFDA Director
