This week, we published the results of the latest NFDA Dealer Attitude Survey Winter 2018/2019 which showed an overall improvement in retailers’ satisfaction levels with the relationship with their manufacturers. Kia was the highest rated franchise and Mercedes was the most improved. Please find more details in today’s news.
The latest new passenger car registration figures showed that the new car market saw a marginal growth of 1.4% to 81,969. Positively, demand from private buyers rose by 4.3%. the light commercial vehicle market saw an increase of 1.8% and is up 5.8% year to date. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has published its findings on the motor finance market which highlighted, as a primary concern, the current commission models. NFDA emphasised that franchised retailers are authorised by the FCA and take rigorous steps to be compliant with FCA’s rules. Please find more information in the news.
