Following the recently announced restrictions and the four-week lockdown in England, we have produced member guidance on online sales of vehicles, delivery and ‘click & collect’. This week, we also launched a series of ‘Hands-on’ Guides to summarise the legal guidance available to our members, the first guide focuses on ‘Distance Selling’. Our Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme has now reopened. The scheme recognises expertise in the EV sector and retailers who are interested in obtaining their Government endorsed EVA accreditation should email eva@rmif.co.uk.
Positively, following our lobbying efforts, the Government has decided to not change the current VED system for light commercial vehicles and motorhomes. Please find more information in the news.
