Dear Colleagues,

On 27 July, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued its final policy statement, which will be implemented on 31 July 2023. The FCA has produced non-handbook guidance, and NFDA is also producing guidance and resources to assist motor retailers with implementing the new Consumer Duty. If you have any queries on this issue, please contact us.

NFDA has also responded to the Mayor of London’s consultation expressing concern around his proposed plans to extend the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) in August 2023. NFDA believes that the extension of the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) could have a disproportional and adverse effect on London’s most deprived communities and motorists.

In today’s NFDA newsletter, you will find an important reminder for the Dealer Attitude Survey (DAS). The DAS allows us to continue to represent your best interest. It is crucial that we receive your feedback, positive or otherwise, to lobby effectively on your behalf.

NFDA Is the voice of automotive retailers – if you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your member helpline at 01788 538303 or email nfda@rmif.co.uk.
