Dear colleagues,

The past two weeks have seen NFDA host the first round of regional meetings where members came together to share perspectives, concerns, and experiences in the current economic and industry climate. This forum not only facilitated robust discussions but also provided constructive conversations.

I am pleased to announce that the results of our Dealer Attitude Survey (DAS) will be shared on Monday 8 April. This edition of the DAS received a strong response rate and will provide valuable insights into the automotive sector and the relationships between franchised dealers and their respective manufacturers.

Included within this week's news, is NFDA's monthly roundup! NFDA attended and engaged with various stakeholders over the past month including attending meetings on MOTs and a roundtable with the Department for Transport as well as events hosted by SMMT and Auto Trader.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) set out its findings from their review of claims-handling processes for valuing vehicles which have been stolen or written-off. NFDA continues to monitor developments from the FCA including investigations into motor finance complaints and the next steps of Consumer Duty.

The Spring Ball 2024 is just around the corner with only one month to go, and we are pleased to welcome franchised dealer members, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders together again. A number of awards will be presented on the night. Do not miss out on this opportunity and join us on Saturday 27 April. There is only limited availability left, if you would like more information please enquire with lena.patel@rmif.co.uk.

Finally, I hope you have a lovely easter break!
