The July new car and LCV registration figures were released this week. New car registrations were up by 1.2% in July, whilst LCV demand fell by -5.9%. More information is in the week’s news.
You may have seen that the FCA published their evaluation report on their intervention in the GAP market. Included in this week’s news is a summary of their report.
Finally, a reminder that the next round of NFDA regional dealer forums are taking place during September around the country. These meetings give members the opportunity to discuss common industry issues with like-minded dealers from a range of franchises. They also give the members the opportunity to hear first-hand what your trade association is doing on your behalf. Topics for discussion will include the Dealer Attitude Survey, WLTP, multi-user vehicles and the current and future state of the market.
