The new passenger car registration figures published this week showed a small decline by -2.9% in October with 153,599 units as the introduction of WLTP continues to distort the market. Sales of alternative fuel vehicles continued to grow significantly with an increase of 30.7%. Figures released this week by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) showed that the latest generation diesel cars emit low pollutant emissions. According to ACEA, the majority of these vehicles already levels of NOx which are lower than the threshold that will be mandatory from January 2020. More details in today’s news.
