MORE THAN 2,000 YOUNG PEOPLE DRIVEN TO DEALERS’ CAREER PAGES EVERY MONTH

Drive My Career is the employment platform launched by NFDA in February 2018. Every month, it drives to the career portals of their member companies more than 2,000 potential candidates aged between 16 and 24.

Drive My Career was launched as a unique, central initiative to benefit not only its members but also the whole retail automotive industry. It has two key objectives: improving the perception of the sector and driving as many young people as possible to the members’ career pages. It uses highly targeted marketing campaigns to reach users that may have never thought about working in our sector before.

Every month, more than 2,100 young people are redirected by Drive My Career to the career pages of its members. There are over 1,100 dealerships displayed in the interactive where jobseekers can find their local dealership.

Drive My Career members have also recently received the latest Insight Report about career guidance. The report is result of a survey that investigated what information young people find beneficial when looking for a job, whom they trust the most for advice and the topic areas they are interested in. A new survey is now analysing young people salary and commute expectations.

Over the summer months, Drive My Career has been running a campaign highlighting to young people all the different career paths available in the automotive retail industry. This week, the campaign focused on the key role of technicians.
