The new EV Marketplace Seminar will take place on 3 December 2019 at the Warwick Hilton. Keynote speakers will walk dealers through the electric vehicle landscape and analyse challenges and opportunities for the sector. Stig Saeveland, CEO Hedin Automotive Norway is the latest to join a lineup of top speakers.

As chief executive officer (CEO) of Hedin Automotive Norway, Mr. Stig Saeveland is responsible the largest BMW dealer group in Scandinavia with more than 800 employees across 20 dealerships in Norway and Sweden.

Prior to assuming the position as CEO in 2018, he served as chief financial officer since 2014. Stig has a profound understanding of the Norwegian automotive business, and deep insights into the effect of the electrification for dealerships. He has played a key strategic role for the company in a market that is transitioning to electric vehicles faster than anywhere else in the world. As of March this year, more than half of the passenger car market in Norway is fully electric.

Before joining Hedin Automotive, Stig has held several executive positions in large corporations. He has served as an EY advisory consultant within performance management for a variety of companies and industries. Stig received his double-degree in finance from the University of Agder and BI Norwegian Business School.

Graeme Cooper, Electric Vehicles Project Director at the National Grid. Graeme leads National Grid’s work on electric vehicles and decarbonisation of transport by leading and coordinating all the work relating to the UK regulated business of National Grid.

Oliver Larkin, Volkswagen Group UK Head of Group Corporate and Public Relations. Oliver’s key responsibility is to co-ordinate a UK Group-level stakeholder engagement strategy by maintaining relationships with brand PR, legal, Governmental Affairs, media, and industry representatives.
