Dear Colleague,

This week we held a well-attended “Better Regulations” working group to continue to look closely at the changes in automotive retail and the forthcoming challenges for dealers. The discussions held by the group allow us to set the direction of our lobbying activities to best represent our members over the coming months. We will keep you updated.

A recent poll by What Car? indicated the majority of consumers see franchised dealers as the most trustworthy place to buy their next used car. These findings are positive and pay testament to the efforts that retailers have been making to adapt to the evolving buying process. Please find more details in the news.

On 22 July, we will host a “Strategic EV Forum” in Warwick in conjunction with the MHA EV Alliance. The event will provide dealers with strategic advice and practical recommendations to improve EV sales and aftersales process, making tax considerations for EV commercial opportunities and optimise EV infrastructure planning. The event is free to attend for NFDA members and places are being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. More information below.

NFDA is your trade association and the voice of automotive retailers: if you require any assistance or would like to attend any of our forthcoming events, please contact our member helpline on 01788 538303.
