As mentioned previously, the automotive industry is facing a number of changes, which, in some cases, are leading to a degree a speculation, especially surrounding agency models. We are continuing to obtain further, legal clarity for our sector - we will be updating members very shortly. Please do contact, to discuss any issues or concerns on this matter.
The upcoming EV Readiness Roadshow, taking place in Leeds on 10 August, is still open for registrations. This event will coincide with our usual regional meetings normally held in Warrington and York. This will enable us to give you an in depth briefing on the recent developments with electric vehicles but at the same time allow us to update you on the current issues that your business is facing. Today, the NFDA has responded to the FCA’s New Consumer Duty. In our response, we set out how best the FCA could implement the new consumer rights regulation it intends to bring in. Thanks to all members for their engagement with us on this.
