Following NFDA’s submission ahead of the Spring Statement, HM Treasury has provided an update on the Government’s commitments and investments. The letter, addressed to NFDA Chief Executive Sue Robinson, touches on the Plug-in Car Grant, benefit in kind tax rates, National Insurance Contributions, the super-deduction, the Digital Services Tax (DST) as well as the apprenticeship levy.

In the letter, Helen Whately Exchequer Secretary to The Treasury, also confirms the Government will “continue to monitor” the transition to EVs and consider how they can “further target intervention to ensure all motorists can realise the benefits of owning an EV”.
