Dear Colleagues,

As I’m sure you are all aware, Primer Minister Liz Truss has now resigned, leaving the decision of who will be the next UK Prime Minster down to Conservative MPs and members to decide next week. Liz Truss will remain in the position prior to the new appointment. With the new Prime Minister, there is likely to be another reshuffle of ministers, and NFDA will immediately re-establish these connections.

Earlier this week I returned from ICDP’s “Accelerating Change” conference in France. Interesting and informative presentations from leading speakers, discussing MVBER and access to in-vehicle data, barriers to online retail and the role of small dealers in the future network as just a few subjects of many. These presentations are available on request, so please contact oliver.nurser@rmif.co.uk if you require these.

Today I attended an Auto Trader Forum. The Forum hosted key players in the automotive retail sector and offered an extensive breakdown of the current market using data. The forum offered a chance for discussion and a better outlook for 2023. Similarly, if you wish to see a copy of the presentations used, please get in contact with us.

NFDA Is the voice of automotive retailers – if you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your member helpline at 01788 538303 or email nfda@rmif.co.uk
