On Wednesday, NFDA NI hosted a meeting that brought together key figures within Northern Ireland (NI), including MLAs, MPs, various associations, and charge point operators. The cross-party roundtable meeting at the Culloden Estate in Belfast fostered positive discussions around key issues affecting the NI automotive industry, including the unacceptable state of the MOT regime and the patchwork charging infrastructure in the region.

Today, Office for National Statistics (ONS) reported that the economy grew by 0.1%, boosted by production and manufacturing in areas such as the car industry. This signals potential for increased sales and stability, benefiting franchised dealers.

As the FCA continues its review of historic motor finance discretionary commission arrangements, the FCA released a statement today, reminding firms to always maintain adequate financial resources.
