Dear Colleague,

This week, we published the first NFDA Electric Vehicle Dealer Attitude Survey. The survey monitors retailers’ satisfaction levels with their respective manufacturers in the electric vehicle area and examines their views on Government’s plug-in grant as well as consumer interest in EVs. Please find more details in today’s news and access the full report at http://bit.ly/2zAG67l .

There has been huge interest from retailers, industry and Government in our recently launched Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme. Last week, the pilot phase of EVA was endorsed by the Government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicle (OLEV) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST).

It was positive to see OLEV’s mention of EVA in their most recent Road to Zero Update. The document says they have been working with NFDA on the scheme which will “make clear to consumers which car dealers have invested in training their staff to sell and service electric vehicles. NFDA are running a trial period from November 2018 to February 2019.”

For more information about EVA, visit http://bit.ly/2FPD7gO or email eva@rmif.co.uk.

Finally, our sympathy and thoughts to the family and friends of Nas Khan OBE, Managing Director of Jennings Motor Group, who passed away this week.
